Hot Tub & Pool Maintenance
We offer weekly and bi-weekly maintenance services for your hot tub or pool. We welcome primary and secondary residences. We are unable to service short term rentals.
At each visit, we will:
- Remove debris
- Clean filters
- Test and balance chemical levels
- Adjust water level
- Check equipment functionality
- Provide a visit report
How to care for your hot tub
1. Clean Your Hot Tub Filter Monthly
Use a garden hose to spray the filter, rotating it to thoroughly remove debris lodged between the pleats. Replace your filter every three years with a genuine Watkins® replacement.
2. Drain and Refill the Hot Tub
The frequency of draining and refilling your hot tub depends on your water care system and usage. With a Freshwater® salt system, you may only need to change the water once a year based on test results. For traditional chlorine or bromine systems, change the water every three to four months for optimal upkeep.
3. Check and Clean the Skimmer Basket Weekly
Ensure proper filter flow by cleaning the skimmer basket weekly. Remove leaves, debris, and foreign matter.
4. Sanitize the Hot Tub
Follow your system instructions for adding chemicals. The frequency depends on your water care system and hot tub usage.
5. Use Your Spa Often!
Regular use helps you stay attentive to your spa’s performance. Maintaining a routine of rejuvenation and self-care can be a great resolution, and your hot tub will reward you for taking good care of it.
